 Get in the Game... Create Your Own Board Game! - Creative writing teacher Kim Kovach guides you through brainstorming ideas, concept development and design in this fun 90-minute program. Combine design, problem-solving skills and creative writing to invent a new board game based on a favorite book or series.

Use your imagination to develop the game concept and goal, write up the rules, and draw the graphics and game cards. Craft your game board and show others how to play! This program provides the opportunity for kids to tap into their imagination and love of reading to produce a unique new game. The basic art supplies will be provided by the library. Students can take their games home to add finishing touches. For students entering 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th grades. Registration required.
