Join us at the Somers Library for a robot programming workshop. You’ll learn how to build and program LEGO robots to do things such as:
Follow you around a room
Balance itself on two wheels
Follow a line & much more!

Please bring your own laptop to the library to use for this program. If you do not have a laptop, the library can supply up to 6 laptops for patron use, but you MUST let us know in advance if you will need to borrow a library laptop for this class.
System Specifications— For the best class experience, it would be best if your laptop met or exceeded these guidelines, which apply for both Mac & Windows systems: at least 2GB of free hard drive space, at least 4GB of RAM, ability to connect to a Wi-Fi network& Bluetooth capability (recommended).
Software—You can download the MINDSTORMS software at: https://www.lego.com/en-us/mindstorms/downloads/download-software. It would be helpful if you could install it on your computer before you come for the workshop.
