Bass Player David Dunaway

 With over 40 years experience, bassist, composer and educator David Dunaway has amassed a wide range of musical experiences that infuse every note he plays. Originally a Rock and Roll bassist, he quickly adapted to Funk, Jazz, and World music.
He has performed and recorded with artists such as Art Van Damme, Andrew Hill, Listen featuring Mel Martin, Chet Baker, Blue Mitchell and Harold Land, Gato Barbieri, John Scofield, The Brooklyn Youth Chorus, The Duke Ellington Orchestra Mary Wilson, and Cleo Laine. 
He released his first solo album of electronic music, "Memories Of Africa” in 2014. His second solo album,  “Memories Of Russia” was released in June 2015. 
David teaches both acoustic and electric bass privately in Westchester County, New York. David is an enthusiastic teacher and he encourages his students to enjoy the challenge of music. Space is limited, no registration, first come, first served.
