Join us for an interactive presentation that will outline what parents can expect now that their student is embarking on their college journey. This session will outline information and support strategies that will assist you and your college-bound student as you navigate the first year experience and beyond. Presenter: Sandra Cefaloni-Henderson is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary College, having earned her B.A. in English, with a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. Sandra immediately pursued her graduate work and received her M.S. in Literacy Education in 2009. Sandra then began a 9 year career in the higher education setting, holding various positions of leadership within the Division of Student Affairs, most recently having served as the Dean of Campus Life. Today Sandra is an educational consultant providing support to students and their families on college counseling, academic planning, and career coaching. She is a member of the Independent Educational Counseling Association (IECA) and the NYS Association of College Admissions Counselors.
