 The Documentary Film & Discussion Series meets the 2nd Thursday of every month, 6:00-8:30 pm, for a look at important or popular topics. The moderated discussion following the film will include various points of view and analysis of the film's quality. Admission is free.

 "Project Nim" is about the chimpanzee who in the 1970s became the focus of an experiment which aimed to show that an ape could learn to communicate with language if raised and nurtured like a human child. The film is an unflinching and unsentimental biography of an animal we tried to make human.
