Primarily focused on the 1800s, Carr’s presentation will include a couple of surprises that involve Central Oregon black pioneers.
Library: Downtown Bend Public Library Find the Downtown Bend Public Library Oregon Black Pioneers is a state wide organization with a mission of doing historical research and honoring the lives of African Americans who have contributed to the historical development of Oregon. In her role, Carr develops exhibits, displays, and does presentations for schools, colleges, historical societies, and civic organizations.
