 Tips and techniques for better travel writing.

Learn how to write an engaging travel piece and how to pitch to publications. The two hour workshop will include exercises in writing a scene and include details on how to share your travel experiences into unforgettable stories for print.

Kimberly Bowker is a narrative journalist who loves to explore stories of the heart and how our lives intertwine. Growing up in Central Oregon, she served at The Bulletin newspaper, and appreciates how writing can strengthen our community. Her work has appeared in local publications and sources such as 1859 Magazine, CraftBeer.com, Fodor's Travel, and Travel Oregon.
