Library: Downtown Bend Public LibrarySo many of us long to write but don't know where to start or have trouble sticking with it. In this two hour workshop, learn the foundational tools to develop a consistent writing practice. This is an all-levels writing workshop. Content inspired by Natalie Goldberg's best-seller "Writing Down the Bones." Bring notebooks, fast writing pens and planners (digital or paper). Sarah Sennott Cyr has a background as a journalist, with work published in Newsweek, The Boston Globe, Cosmopolitan, and ARTNews. Sarah began a daily writing practice in 2014 after reading Natalie Goldberg’s "Writing Down the Bones". The breakthrough she experienced from approaching writing as a practice led her to teaching. In 2019, Sarah completed a year-long writing intensive at the Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe taught by Natalie Goldberg and Robert Wilder. *cr* Location: Brooks Room Contact: Paige M.
