Techy Mandala Kits

Event Type: Teen Program
Age Group(s): High School Age
Date: 9/25/2021
Start Time: All Day
Description:
Create futuristic symmetrical mandalas. Registration required; kits limited.

Learn about symmetry and mandalas to create your own design with computer parts. Mandala is a Sanskrit word that translates loosely to circle or center. Originally, mandalas were connected with spiritual development in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Today, mandalas often appear as circular designs with repeating shapes, colors, and patters that radiate from the center. Some might be incredibly symmetrical and geometric, while others are asymmetrical and organic. Try your hand at creating a mandala with supplied computer parts.

Registration is required to receive a program kit. The kit will be available to pick up at your preferred library location on the program date.
