Library: Downtown Bend Public LibraryThis is an in-person program. Registration is required. Masks are recommended at all in-person library events. Registration closes Friday, July 15. Learn to identify birds by sight and sound, as well as their habitat preferences. Be prepared to walk up to two miles on uneven terrain. Bring binoculars. Registered participants will meet at Tumalo State Park Day Use area. Deschutes Public Library will provide day passes for use in the fee parking area. Damian Fagan is a former National Park Service ranger and field biologist.
