This is an in-person program. Wearing a face covering is optional at all library events. Get an overview of the path to citizenship for immigrants in the United States from USCIS Portland Field Office Director Margaret Rosenast and Community Relations Specialist Quinn Andrus. The presentation will include a description of how immigrants become legal permanent residents (family and work based petitions, and humanitarian programs), how one qualifies for and achieves US citizenship, and a robust question and answer period. Portland Field Office Director Rosenast recently moved into her role after serving as the USCIS Associate Counsel for over a decade. Community Relations Specialist Quinn Andrus has served in her role for seven years in Oregon.
