Corissa Holmes King has been the Environmental Programs Supervisor for the City of Redmond for the past five years, and joined the Arome Redmond team just one year ago. Corissa has had a love for cooking and baking since she was a little girl and discovered how this became her art outlet, as an adult. During the height of the sourdough bread rage that swept the nation the past several years, Corissa chose to take her passion and interest of baking to the next level. In 2021, Corissa traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to take part in a week-long intensive course on Sourdough Artisan Bread. Since then, she has made beautifully, tasty loaves of Artisan Sourdough for her family and friends, and even taught a few colleagues how to create their own loaves themselves. Corissa now wants to share this passion of baking and the science behind Sourdough with you all!
